Who says pink isn't for Halloween? I've used pink as the base for this card and added in some traditional color to pull it altogether.
The spiderweb was made using the dotted line from the borders cling stamp set. The best thing about cling, clear and unmounted stamps is that they are flexible and plyable. Move them, bend them and make 'em work for you. Once the spiderweb was stamped, I cut it out and mounted to a square piece of sugarcoated cardstock using foam adhesive.
I added the owl to the top and the spider hanging from its bow. It's a fun way to tie the two elements together -- literally.
I added lots of jewels and pearls to fancy up the card --- eyes of the owl, spider eyes and dew drops.
Be sure to check out the other blinged out cards over at the Doodlebug blog. They are so sparkly and booooooooooootiful!
