basking in the sun and love.

It was cold out today and my feet never seemed to warm up. To try remedy the problem, I laid on the kid's bed and basked in the sun. Oh yes, laying in a comfy bed, with K girl's "comfy bee" [her blanket] draped over my legs and a pink afghan over my arms -- all while the sun shine peeked through the blinds. Aaaaaaah.

Now, if only that basking had come with a true nap, not one filled with:

• "Mom, tighten my hair [ponytail]."
• "Which is your favorite car?"
• "Do you like Jungle Fury or RPM?"
• "Let's have a tea party."
• "Mom, I made you some chai tea."
• "Mooooooooooooooom!"
• "Mom, let's go outside. Can we? Now."

God love those little Ks -- they are the darned cutest things alive.
